What is the cheapest way to travel from Culpeper/Charlottesville VA to Charleston SC?

I wanted to go see a friend down in Charleston for a few days, but after searching for a while I couldn't find any sites or traveling methods that would offer a cheap way to travel. I also couldn't find any bus sites that would go from the Culpeper/Charlottesville area to Charleston. Does anyone know of some good sites/places that offer a cheap,safe, and good way to travel?
