Also, How long does it take to travel from Honolulu to the four other Hawaiian islands?|||Honolulu is a city. Oahu is the island it resides on. You can walk across the city of Honolulu in under a half hour. You can walk from Honolulu to Waikiki in about 45 minutes to an hour. You can fly from the island of Oahu to the island Hawaii (The big island) in about 30 minutes. And as the other answerer mentioned you can drive from Honolulu to The North Shore in about an hour and to Turtle Bay from Honolulu in about an hour and a half or so depending on traffic.|||If you go around O'ahu, it depends if you do a circle of the entire island which could take a few hours, this means going all the way around the outside, through north shore around to Kaena point out to waianae through kapolei, into town and around through kaneohe and kailua could take about 3-4 hrs

|||One thing that makes it hard to answer your question is defining where, exactly, Honolulu ends %26amp; other parts of "the City %26amp; County of Honolulu" aka Oahu begins. If it goes from Hawaii Kai on the east to Moanalua on the west, it would probably be about 15 miles, so it would take several hours to walk. As far as driving, anybody that lives here wil tell you that depends on what time of day you leave your house. Non rush hour, you could drive from Hawaii Kai to Moanalua in about 40 minutes, tops. Rush hour? Double that, at least. Once in the air, it takes about half an hour in a commercial jet to get from Oahu to either Kauai or Maui %26amp; maybe 45 minutes to get to Hilo. So from Kauai to Hilo, it would be a bit over an hour, but I don't think there are any direct flights like that.|||I think you mean the island of Oahu and it takes very little time in a car. I think it was like under an hour by car from city to north shore.
