I love to travel and need a job that fits with my personality. I need to declare a major and start thinking about a career by next year... what are some good ideas??
If you have a job that requires a lot of travel, what do you do?|||-journalist (there's news everywhere)
-pilot (there are people everywhere)
-English Teacher (you can teach English anywhere; I had a teacher who did this but now she just teaches at Harvard and she almost never travels...or corresponds with any of her former students...geez)
-Geologist (Um, we're always going to need fossil fuel)
-Diplomat (this is one of my favorites but you have to learn another language...it is required that you are at least bilingual)|||I'd definatly say the aviation industry... as mentioned. I'd also say the maritime industry... I recently worked for three years instructing scuba diving, and the options for work are endless considering the planet is mostly blue... I guess that doesn't really help though. Because to travel and instruct takes time. Adjusting to the dive environment takes a couple of weeks/months/years... Its an awesome career path (obviously financially its not the best) super fun, you can apply with any dive charter anywhere on the globe... Full of friendly people lost'a culture, its just plain cool!!!
Otherwise why not study or apply for a diplomatic position or perhaps some UN work could tend to your travel bug. :)|||flight attendant
off-site reporter
hotel/resort reviewer
pilot
author(travel is optional obviously but authors have the flexbility to travel)|||I'm not in it, but you want a Military career it sounds like. Why not, you are safe with Uncle Sam.|||A pilot? Or a flight attendant?
