Can you travel while on probation or while your on bond?

I have a friend who is out on bail and possibly going to receive probation in the near future. His bond states he can not leave the state but he insists on doing so. He is planning to travel by either air, train,or bus. When buying his tickets and providing and identification is there any way that any of these facilities would know he has a pending case and is out on bail? Would they know he isn't supposed to leave the state or know he has a pending case? Thank you.|||In all likelihood... if he gets caught... his bond will be IMMEDIATELY revoked.... and he will spend each and every day between now and the date of his trial (which could be 4 months away) in a county jail cell.

Not to mention the fact that "bond jumpers" have created an entire industry (they are called bounty hunters).... to make sure that the person who fronted the bond gets their money back.... and your friend goes to jail until his trial.

I would say... not worth the risk.

Release on bond is a privilege afforded to "alleged" criminals... jumping bond makes him a GUILTY of a new crime (and maybe the original charge too) criminal.|||He cant and he will go to jail.I doubt they would notify the train/bus stations etc but IF he gets caught, he is in deep sh*t...Contempt of court, violation of cort order and such thing s .|||no u cant u will be sent to jail for 4 to 5 years
